Players who reached the MLB often have a common view on Minor League life. MLB players look back on their time in the Minors positively because for them, everything worked out. They worked incredibly hard every single day to achieve a lifelong dream and the MiLB was just a stepping stone or obstacle in their way. They all acknowledge that changes must be made to provide the best product on the field, which is ultimately what is best for baseball. The MLB players that we spoke with had a wide range of experiences: high draft picks, low draft picks, huge signing bonuses, no signing bonuses, many years in the Minors, or only a few years. We found that while a lot of their stories have similarities, their opinions on Minor League economic inequality vary, usually depending on their time spent in the Minors and their signing bonus.
