Spruill with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2014.
Zeke Spruill was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the second round of the 2008 MLB Draft from Kell High School in Marietta, GA. He signed with the club for $600,000. He played 12 seasons of professional baseball, making 12 appearances in the MLB. Eight of Spruill's twelve professional seasons were in the Minor Leagues. While brief, Zeke shared some powerful words with the MLM team.
"I knew guys that would only eat the meal provided after the game as their only meal of the day because they couldn’t afford to eat and rent the apartments which were usually 4-6 people in a 2 bedroom."
