Peña with the Detroit Tigers in 2013.
Brayan Peña was signed by the Atlanta Braves as an amateur free agent in 2000 from La Habana, Cuba. Peña played parts of six seasons in the Minor Leagues and a total of 16 seasons of professional baseball. He was brief in his response, but shared some powerful words with the MLM team about what he learned about life and baseball during his experience in the MiLB.
"Minor League baseball did a lot for me. It taught me how to be a better player, appreciate baseball, and the jersey that I was representing. Also, I learned the importance of embracing the grind and all the sacrifice we made along the way!"
