The crux of our project is to spread awareness for economic inequality amongst Minor League baseball players. This problem has been around for years and little has been done to enact change. Players who played in the MiLB and never made it to the Big Leagues offer a point of view that most often aligns with what we preach at MLM. Career Minor Leaguers are more likely to speak out against the harsh living conditions because that is all they knew in professional baseball. Also, for many of these guys, they had to make a choice. They could have either continued try to make the Big Leagues or take the safe route, retire, and get started on life after baseball. We learned that more often than not, that decision is already made for the players as it becomes impossible to live on such a low wage.
